Why do I need a mobile number to register a HotDoc Account?
This was the process chosen as the most reliable verification method so that our practices have a valid contact should they need to be in touch with you regarding your booking. It is also the method by which they deliver appointment reminders and certain health related information.
When registering a new HotDoc account, an active Australian mobile phone number is required to verify your identity. Please see the following article for more information: How to Create a HotDoc account
- If you are not able to access a mobile phone, you may ask a friend or family member to register a HotDoc account.
- HotDoc has a Family Member appointment functionality that allows people who may not have a HotDoc account to use an active member's account to request any bookings necessary without the need for additional contact details. Please see the following articles for more information:
